Tennis Coaches To Join In the Fun at Shrewsbury Food Festival

Tennis coaches from The Shrewsbury Club will be joining in the fun at this weekend’s Shrewsbury Food Festival by inviting visitors to pick up a racket.

Our team will be at the Quarry Park on both Saturday and Sunday to offer a range of tennis activities, with our Tennis Factory equipment always a hit with children.

Simon Haddleton, director of tennis at The Shrewsbury Club, says: "The club has a great relationship with Beth Heath and Shropshire Festivals and are really grateful for the opportunity of getting involved in this weekend’s event, which is huge for the town.

“The Shrewsbury Food Festival is always incredibly well attended and really good fun.

"The coaches love being involved in the festivals as they are brilliantly organised.

“We relish the opportunity to introduce tennis to as many people as possible, many of whom will have never picked up a racket.

“We love sharing our passion for tennis and hope we are able to inspire people to get on court.”

The Shrewsbury Food Festival - a foodie lover’s dream! - features a host of exhibitors and vendors, as well as cookery demonstrations, chef schools, classes, kids entertainment, live music, and so much more.

Gates open at 10am on both Saturday and Sunday, with tickets available from the Shrewsbury Food Festival website so click here for details
