The Shrewsbury Club to close to comply with national lockdown

Immediate Club Closure

Following on from the Government announcement at 8pm on January 4th, we are really sad to confirm that the Club is now closed until the national lockdown is lifted. We will really miss all our members and are desperately disappointed to find ourselves in this position again.

DD Collection and Our Covid Commitment on Fees

The DD collection for January has already been sent to the bank.

As per our earlier statements, our commitment to all members, that whenever we are ever forced to close we will freeze membership, will apply again. For the time we are closed, you will not pay membership whilst you can’t get access to the Club. If you pay by direct debit, we will not collect any further payments and the first 27 days when we reopen will be free. For annual paying members we will simply extend your membership by the number of days we are closed.

Exercise Class Livestream

We will be livestreaming classes from a members only area of the website. These classes will be free. We will be emailing details of how to access these classes by Wednesday 6th January together with a timetable.

Outdoor Tennis Courts

We are still waiting for advice from the government and the LTA on outdoor tennis courts so we will update what is happening with these as soon as we are provided with information

Thanks for your support as we face these challenging circumstances. This will pass and we will be back open for good just as soon as we are allowed.
