We offer one of the biggest choices of classes in the Midlands - over 80 classes a week, all included in membership. So no matter what your age or ability, The Shrewsbury Club will have a class for you! They are great fun, and you will also enjoy the benefits of getting motivation from your fellow group members, as well as the ongoing social aspects.

Group Fitness Classes

Our fitness studios in Shrewsbury are fully air conditioned and were part of the Winter 2017 refurbishment programme. A quality training environment complemented by quality instruction and easy booking online. Unlike some clubs, because of the large number of classes we run, you should be able to book onto the majority of classes you want.

Our group exercise classes, like all our activities, are for members only. We do not offer Pay As You Go sessions.

Whether you wish to join the Les Mills revolution or stretch out with Yoga and Piloxing, The Shrewsbury Club is the place to be!

Piloxing

Piloxing

Our Piloxing classes in Shrewsbury are great fun! A combination of Pilates, Boxing and Dance, Piloxing helps with cardiovascular fitness, muscle toning and fat burning. Enjoy the fitness benefits of boxing but without risking a broken nose!

Aerobics

One of the oldest classes around and, some would say, one of the best. If you're interested in stretching and strength training, come try The Shrewsbury Club's Aerobics classes!

MetaPWR

MetaPWR

The PWR workout is a 22 minute circuit consisting of 10 exercises, with 3 rounds. This great powerful workout using your body weight and weighted equipment such as the battle rope, kettlebells & power bags

Another old school favourite Circuit Training is one of The Shrewsbury Club's most popular classes as it targets the whole body, and the ever-changing exercises ensure your muscles don't get too comfortable! Circuits can get maximum results in minimum time.

This is the original Les Mills barbell class and it will sculpt and strengthen your whole body… quickly. BodyPump challenges all the major muscle groups through low weights and high reps. All set to chart-topping music that changes every three months, come try BodyPump at The Shrewsbury Club!

Les Mills BodyCombat

BodyCombat is your martial arts inspired workout in Shrewsbury. Punch and kick your way to fitness (without the risks of contact), practicing the moves of Boxing, Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Taekwondo and Capoeira.

The hardcore spin bike classes at The Shrewsbury Club are sure to test those legs and lungs! Already a classic workout, Spin simulates a bike ride of differing intensities and (depending on weight and other factors) can burn 600 calories in one class.

Bums & Tums

Bums & Tums

Three areas of the body that people tend to be most unhappy about! Our 60-minute Bums & Tums class in Shrewsbury specifically targets these regions, using lunges, crunches and everything in between. This is definitely a class for all abilities.

OLIT
